Parents, as you raise your children in the Lord, we want to come alongside you and provide another layer of care from your church family, encouraging your kids in their walks, and creating a safe place for them and their friends who need the Lord as well. One of the ways we are doing that is through our ARISE Youth Group!
ARISE is for students in grades 6–12 and will meet twice a month. Gatherings will alternate between Sunday afternoons after church here at the church building and Friday evenings in homes or around the community.
Our goals over the coming year will include:
- Encouraging your child towards Christ as their greatest treasure.
- Helping them think biblically about issues affecting them, like dating, social media, peer pressure, and their responsibilities at home and at school.
- Helping them develop godly friendships and a heart for the lost.
This is a great way to enrich your child’s discipleship. We invite you to come with your child or feel free to drop them off with us, knowing they’re in a safe environment, learning about God, and building meaningful friendships.
We’ll provide food, materials, and Bibles, but we encourage students to bring their own Bible if they have one.
We’d love for your kids to join us—and invite their friends! To find the next meeting date, click on “Events” under the “Connect” drop down on our homepage.
If you have any questions or if your child plans to attend, please call or text to Youth Leader, Aaron Black at 240-671-6928.
